My Shark Tank Favorites

I am fortunate to work on the 4-time Emmy-Award winning show “Shark Tank”. I see every product known to man. Maybe not as many as our casting department but enough to quickly decipher the heroes from the zeros.

Here are some of my favorite products that I use on a daily or near daily basis that I recommend to everyone I know:

This I most definitely use on a daily basis! Jamie the entrepreneur came on and pitched this product as “Doorbot”. Nobody went in on this deal, Richard Branson swooped in, a change of name and all of a sudden I’m seeing everyone on Nextdoor posting videos of their Amazon thefts, thanks to the affordable, recordable doorbell speaker.  Love it.

You probably saw these splashed all over Instagram and for good reason- they are BEAUTIFUL! I got mine in rose gold and I get compliments whenever I wear them in public. They are not built for running but make a super-comfy cushion on long flights due to the pillowy nature of their old school headphone design. Great quality sound, beautifully designed. Now some of the design heads are interchangeable. Mix it up!

Ever since BB cream sales rocketed in the U.S., Korean beauty and Korean beauty products have just exploded. I’m lucky because I live in Koreatown in LA and have access to a thousand of the best beauty supply & cosmetic stores this side of Seoul. Everyone is on the hunt for the most luxurious ampoules, essences, toners, cleansers and moisturizers. But Sarah Lee and Christine Chang are purveyors of Korean beauty and they wanted to curate all of the best products FOR you at Glow Recipe! I believe in the Tank, we were able to try the Tundra Chaga Pressed Serum , the Whamisa Organic Flowers Olive Leaf Mist and the Whamisa Sea Kelp Facial Sheet Mask but this winter I’m super stoked to try Make P:rem’s Micro Tension Cream which Sarah just raved about!

You can read about their Shark Tank experience here on their blog. Follow them too!

Bombas! I LOVE BOMBAS! These are hands-down, 100%, THE BEST socks you will ever step your foot into. The have a cushy padded sole, “stay-up” support and the softest wicking anti-microbial natural fibers you will ever slip over your tootsies. No joke! My favorite part of Bombas business, however, is that for every pair you purchase, a pair is donated to a homeless shelter. At the time of this publishing, they have donated 4,998,240 pairs! and counting!

Groovebook is a great, easy-to-use app that turns your cell phone pictures into a physical, bendable little booklet! Upload 100 of your favorite ‘grams (or any other photo from your phone) to the app and receive a special treat- filled with your favorite people, furry friends and local scenery- in the post every month! Each cover design is different but the premise is the same: you can keep them in these little handy booklets or easily tear them out to frame. Who does that anymore? I do! I have Groovebook!

Wondercide is a GREAT product for those with cats + dogs. What I love about this product is that it’s a one stop shop for killing fleas. Spray your cat, spray the couch. Spray your dog, spray the dog bed. Fleas gone. All natural. No toxic materials. Safe for your pets. Safe for your kids. Smells great. Of course, cats (or my cats, at least) don’t really like being sprayed with anything so you can moisten a cloth with the formula then pet them down.

Now honestly, I hope I NEVER have to use this but here in Hollywood,  we live right on the San Andreas Fault so there is a 99.99% chance that one day I will. The Seventy2 is an all-encompassing earthquake/survival/bugout bag. The idea is that you should be able to take care of yourself for 72 hours (or 3 days) before help arrives. I did a LOT of research on bags out there on the web and there are some cheaper versions that can probably help you but this bag is just top-notch. The water filtration system is the best on the market (worth the price of admission alone) and the outer shell bag itself can be used as a floatation device. Shovel? Check. Mock sling or carrying system? Check. Easy to read directions as to how to start a fire? Check. I know me. I will probably be in a rattled panic should this ever go down. Now I need to buy one for car and office!

Ok, I don’t actually eat this every day THANK GOD! I really only dabble in it once a year or so but we couldn’t end this post on a scary earthquake post, right? NO. We need feel good, high-school-level, eat your feelings, edible cookie dough! No eggs! Go ahead! Eat it! Right out of the jar! This stuff is SO good! Sold locally at Gelson’s.

I found this website which features ALL of the Shark Tank products ever aired on this cool site:, not affiliated with Sony or ABC. Budding entrepreneur yourself? Want to take your shot at the Tank? Go here:
